Commissions

I have made several quilts recently as commissions. I have enjoyed the collaborative process of coming up with a design and choosing fabrics that match the expectations of the commissioner. Obviously the cost of a finished quilt depends on several factors,

• the size of the finished quilt

• the choice of fabrics

• the complexity of the chosen design and therefore the time taken to make it

As a very rough guide though, I would expect the prices for my time to be in the following ranges,

• a baby/cot quilt £150 - £250

• a single bed quilt £300 - £400

• a double bed quilt £400 - £600
